Founder's Story

My woodworking journey started when I was a young kid. My father had a good size detatched garage with all the woodworking tools you could imagine. Every time he had a tool in his hand, I had one in mine; learning the techniques and skills of woodworking over time. In my teenage years I worked with my grandpa doing residential construction/carpentry. Continuing my passion out of high school I began working for a small family owned business building custom cabinets and pursed that for several years until beginning my career as a nuclear electrician.

With years of experience in woodworking and a true love for all things crafted from wood, I embarked on a journey to start my own woodworking business. Armed with skills, knowledge, and a single workbench, I laid the foundation of what would become Windmill Woodworks.
